Getting to know Erin Harrison

I recognize that reaching out to begin this journey is a brave and important step. There is a difference between 'surviving' and feeling alive. My areas of speciality are anxiety, grief, and trauma-informed care. I am aware of the privilege it is to accompany you, and I am currently open to accepting new Telehealth clients.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that empowerment and healing can come through self-connection, use of more adaptive tools and learning how to approach this sometimes overwhelming world in a way that feels more manageable. I show up for you authentically and drawing from my over twenty years of working with individuals of all ages, across populations and diagnoses. During our time together, I hope to provide a space for you to revive your joy, feel whole versus disjointed, and seek to create a balance between challenge and kindness for yourself.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have extensive experience with anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues and parenting, among other issues. In particular, I have worked with anxious thoughts, burnout, social communication, and self esteem. We’ll find ways to talk about the hard things, and I am capable of facing them with you in a way that feels more seen and less alone. Once you book on zoc doc, I'll reach out via e-mail to schedule our free 15 minute intake call. That first interaction is to help you know if we are a good fit and to answer any questions that you may have, as well as to make sure that telehealth is a good fit for your needs. From there, all intake material is done online via my secure patient portal. We'll continue with an intake appointment, and step by step we then move forward in a collaborative way.
