Hi there, I'm Erin! If you're struggling with anxiety, depression & PTSD because of trauma I am here for you. I have 13 years of experience, and I specialize in working with adult women in Orange County California. Trauma includes abuse of any kind, sexual trauma, surviving cancer, grief & loss, relationship issues or life transitions. My focus Someone has hurt you and I truly, deeply care about that. I am so sorry you have been traumatized. You deserve respect, a listening ear and a witness to your pain. But you're not alone, you're not crazy and you can get better. There is such a thing as post traumatic growth. It takes time but I'm in it with you. We just need to get things started. My approach You are a unique person, so I like to know how life has uniquely affected you. I also utilize other assessments to get a clearer picture for both of us. My modalities include EMDR, CBT, some Rapid Resolution techniques and coping tools. We engage with each other as equal human beings, but my focus is to guide the process toward healing & results. My communication style This is deep work that can be hard and painful, but I also love hearing laughter during our sessions. I value authenticity and I know how important it is to be an authentic human in the space with you. We are all just doing the best we can, and you need someone who is safe, understanding, gentle and non-judgmental. Relax with me after a hard day. My journey to mental healthcare I started out in life wanting to be an animation artist. (I am very animated myself and I have a lot of personality). But I had my fair share of struggles with mental health issues. I needed help and personal healing for me. I recognized in my 20s that I wanted more purpose in my career and felt drawn to do this work with people who are suffering.
