Hello, I'm Erin, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for child and family therapy. I believe that the therapeutic journey begins with our very first session together. During this initial meeting, we will complete an assessment and set the goals and focus for your therapy. From that point on, my priority is to create an accepting and supportive atmosphere where you can learn new skills, process your emotions, and move forward to overcome the challenges you're facing. I have additional training in Play Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma processing, PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) for behavior management, and The Incredible Years Programs, which support parents and teach children essential skills like emotional regulation and problem-solving. These specialized techniques allow me to tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your therapeutic goals. My approach is grounded in empathy and understanding, and I strive to make each session a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you're dealing with anger management, anxiety, ADHD, depression, PTSD, stress, or trauma, I am here to support you every step of the way. I also have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, focusing on their mental and behavioral health, as well as family relationships. Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest therapeutic techniques to provide the best care possible.
