Getting to know Dr. Erin Scarth

My name is Dr. Erin Scarth, PsyD. I provide cognitive behavioral therapies for children, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma history, and other mental health challenges. I believe that developing a strong therapeutic relationship is the most important step in the process. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. My approach I utilize cognitive behavioral therapies, an evidence-based approach to treating a variety of mental health concerns. I incorporate mindfulness into treatment while drawing on a person’s strengths and creativity to enhance therapy. My focus Many clients have experienced trauma that has deeply impacted their lives, and I help loosen the grip it has on them. I also treat conditions such as bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, ADHD, feelings of worthlessness, and low self-esteem. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals who have disabilities and those caring for individuals with disabilities. My communication style The most important thing a therapist can do is provide a warm and inviting environment where clients feel comfortable, trusting, and able to speak openly with their therapist.
