Getting to know Erin Weber Carrick

Hello! I am an experienced therapist who has helped many individuals and families navigate personal challenges. I view therapy as a journey we embark on together, allowing me to learn about your life, recognize your strengths, and help you gain insight into your triggers. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Malone University and have been a licensed therapist for 10 years. I specialize in trauma and am trained in specific techniques, including DBT and EMDR, to help you process your past and develop calming coping skills. I emphasize journaling and meditation as tools to deepen your self-awareness between sessions and provide a safe space to work through your experiences. My background includes work within addiction and family systems, where I have helped clients build boundaries and improve communication skills to strengthen important relationships in their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

What to expect in the first session is for me to learn about your life experiences. I typically have you review a timeline of your life and your current symptom list so can together see what from your past is effecting your current state of mind.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
