Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Erit! Hello, my name is Erit Moradzadeh. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a doctorate degree (PsyD) in Marriage & Family Therapy from Ryokan College and a Master’s in Counseling from California State University, Northridge. I offer psychotherapy services to multicultural and immigrant populations. My practice focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental environment to help clients develop strong, meaningful, and intimate relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families addressing issues such as self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges by setting healthy boundaries, so they can feel at ease and live a whole and meaningful life. I utilize different therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s specific needs. Childhood trauma, dysfunctional family systems, grief/loss, and many other factors impact how a person views and experiences the world. If you are looking to heal from trauma, develop healthy boundaries, improve self-esteem, and feel more connected to yourself and others, I can help. I feel honored to embark upon this journey with you. My approach I believe therapy is an individualized experience, and I may use a combination of approaches based on your needs and preferences. My work with individuals is rooted in a direct, yet compassionate approach to guiding you toward solution-oriented goals and healing. I strive to cultivate a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful space while promoting a strong sense of self with a long-term, goal-oriented focus. This is done in a warm, empathetic environment that encourages vulnerability and connection. My focus I work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, belief systems, genders, challenges, and needs. My current areas of practice include adults, couples, families, and adolescents coping with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, career or life transitions, and family conflict.
