Getting to know Eseoghene Oniwor

My counseling approach is informed by my years of experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Saint Mary College. Through therapy, I have been able to help individuals and families address barriers or areas of concern.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Treatment approaches I use in therapy are Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems. In addition together we will discuss interventions/tools that will be helpful to you to enhance your wellbeing. Your input and feedback is important as we work together to create a goal to move toward your desired outcome. I will listen and provide support to create a plan and goal to move toward the outcome you choose. You will engage, give feedback on what is or is not helpful and collaborate with me to for your desired outcome.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will meet for a 50 min appt. During the appointment you and I will discuss your areas of concern that are impacting relationships, employment and or schooling. It is important that you let me know what is or is not working for you in therapy.
