E'Shereca Mills, LPC

Psychotherapist
2000 25th Ave N, Ste 104A, Texas City, TX
I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals on their journeys toward healing and self-discovery, especially within communities that have historically been underserved or overlooked. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by diverse roles, including work as a school teacher, parole officer, child protective services investigator, state benefits worker, and therapy aide for individuals with brain injuries. These experiences have not only refined my skills but also grounded me in the importance of empathy, resilience, and connection within the community. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University, which has further equipped me to provide compassionate and effective care. In our work together, no topic is too small or insignificant. My priority is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood-where your unique experiences and challenges are met with respect and care. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I'm here to walk alongside you, offering support as you explore your goals, strengths, and concerns. I use a flexible, eclectic counseling style that draws from various therapeutic approaches to meet your needs. Together, we'll create a plan that feels authentic and effective for you. Our sessions will move at a pace that feels right for you, providing time for reflection, growth, and healing. It's an honor to support you on this path, and I look forward to walking it with you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
