My focus I work with children ages 4 & up, adolescents, adults, individuals, groups, couples, and families to explore strategies to navigate challenges, develop coping mechanisms, and build a strong foundation for your mental and emotional well-being. My journey to mental healthcare I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who has been in the mental health field since 2001 working in inpatient psychiatric, group private practice, outpatient psychiatric medication clinic, and community mental health. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision while I continue to provide meaningful care in the mental health profession.
