I have had the pleasure of working as a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 24 years and am very passionate about my work. I believe that offering a safe, empathic and compassionate environment is of utmost importance. I use a client centered, integrative approach paired with a range of treatment models and therapeutic skills to provide the support you need to reach your goals. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I received my BA in Psychology from San Diego State University in 1997 and continued my education at the United States International University where I earned my MA in Marital & Family Therapy in 2000. Currently, I work in private practice and specialize in providing treatment to individuals who are experiencing difficulties with feelings of anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, trauma and/or life transitions. My goal as your therapist is to provide you with the most current research based care I can offer. As a lifelong learner, I continue to educate myself by attending trainings, seminars and professional development courses to continually improve my clinical skills.
