Getting to know Eunice Chai

Hello, I'm Eunice, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s from George Mason University. I am passionate about partnering with you to discover your identity, hope, and growth in a safe space. I will assist you in exploring your personal challenges through a holistic approach that includes cultural factors. I enjoy working with people at different life stages who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, life transitions, and everyday stress. Modalities I draw from in my practice include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and a client-centered, strengths-based approach. I also integrate mindfulness to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

From each session, you can expect homework whether it be in forms of worksheets, practicing another thought perspective, or completing tasks. You will learn to build new habits and skills that can be life changing (i.e. better relationship with yourself, assertive communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills).

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
