Eva Estrada, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Southern California, as well as a Doctorate in Education with a focus on change and leadership. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of clients. My specialties include substance abuse and addictions, mood disorders, women's issues, and supporting the Latino and LGBTQ communities. Most recently, I have focused more on parents of LGBTQ children of all ages. Research shows that lack of acceptance and support for queer and transgender family members increases the risk of depression and suicidality, making work with parents essential. In my group practice, parentSpace Therapy, parents have the opportunity to share their concerns and struggles in a safe environment and at their own pace, separate from their children, whose mental health is being protected. Though this is a newer focus, I continue to see any client whose needs align with my expertise.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
