My clinical social work background includes counseling adults in individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, domestic violence, and substance use counseling. Are you fearful of ADHD, ADD, mood, and anxiety disorders, including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Trauma, Social Anxiety, and PTSD? With decades of experience, I know connecting with patients personally is key. I understand how you are feeling with these symptoms. I have particular strength in patient evaluation, risk assessment, treatment planning, and referral for specialized populations and outreach services. My proven abilities include creating patient support services, enhancing quality services, and hotline counseling. I have solid planning and organizational skills and a talent for developing effective interactive communications with physicians' professional services groups, healthcare administration, and community organizations. I also have the ability to create and facilitate groups for specialized children’s services and to function as a family systems therapist. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My practice specialties include individual, child and family psychotherapy, trauma focus, client education, safety, conflict resolution and management. I have a psychiatric screening certification which allows which allows me to function as a certified screener in a behavioral health screening center. I have a school social work certification and experience working as a school social worker in a high school setting. I worked with the dual diagnosis population on inpatient medical units. I have specific training in an individual psychotherapy, family systems and group work including play therapy.
Upon joining the telehealth conference call, you will be greeted with kindness and a warm aurora. I'm well aware of the struggles patients face and to have a mundane meeting does nothing to assist you. You will then be evaluated based on questions asked and information already known given through the forms. Finally, a diagnosis will be given, and a discussion will arise on the advised steps to improve your health. The topics we discuss will pertain to medication management, what actions you should take to work with the medication and your general quality of life, and the steps we will take to improve it.
