“TL;DR: I'm struggling with ADHD and depression and he has exceeded all expectations of a first session and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with him. He's smart, good at what he does, and has shown himself to be genuinely dedicated to helping people beyond the business side. He is an excellent listener, very validating, makes excellent points, and is great at establishing a welcoming and accepting environment that I was able to open up in (I struggle to do this, but he made it far easier than I expected would be possible). I won't go into all the details, but from what I've seen of his approach so far, it's very apparent that he values getting to know his clients so that his treatment plan is well tailored to his clients' individual needs. There's all the standard initial questions, of course, but it feels like he does his best to go that extra mile for you. He makes me feel like he's really in my corner and I think that means more to me than I really thought it would.”

Getting to know Evan Jones

Starting therapy can feel like a big step-especially if you're not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier. I'm a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here. In our work together, we focus on what's actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes-not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don't need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting-we'll figure that out together. If you're looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I'd be glad to work with you.
