Psychotherapist

Do you struggle to forgive yourself? Is shame keeping you stuck in patterns that aren't working for you any longer? Do you find yourself only being able to see the world from a rigid black and white lens? Do these patterns impact your quality of life through anxiety and depression? I help clients develop the skills to navigate these common concerns. I'm talking about self-compassion and cognitive flexibility skills. The thing I LOVE about my skills-based approach is that we all have an inherent ability to get better at things, yes, even our thought patterns and emotional reactions! It takes persistence and effort, but we can change!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a pretty laid-back dude. You are much more likely to find me rocking a hoodie and sneakers as opposed to the traditional button-down and dress-shoes during sessions. To put it simply, my approach to therapy is to mix talk therapy (cognitive therapy) with mindfulness-based exercises (a more somatic approach). I find this mix is more holistic for clients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I like to offer free consultations for potential clients. During these phone calls, we can discuss your goals for therapy, answer the questions you may have about me, and feel out if I would be a good fit for your needs!
