Hi there, I'm Evangeline! I am Evangeline Veal, but I prefer to be called Eva. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix, and I love people. I am passionate about helping individuals find their inner resilience and create meaningful change. My approach My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based techniques, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuine rapport-building. I collaborate with clients to identify strengths, find solutions, and build coping skills that empower them to meet life’s challenges. My focus I have worked with children ages six to twelve and adults. I treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, parent/child relational issues, divorce/separation, relationship issues, adjustment disorder, and provide Christian counseling. My communication style I listen attentively, without judgment, as you share your experiences and concerns. Your narrative guides our sessions. I validate your feelings, creating a space where you feel understood and accepted. Together, we uncover patterns, beliefs, and coping mechanisms. We build on your strengths and develop new skills. We're a team navigating the human experience. My journey to mental healthcare I have always wanted to help people. For as long as I can remember, people have shared their problems with me, and I enjoyed helping them come to realizations about their lives. Initially, I wanted to be a Criminal Profiler with the FBI’s Behavior Analysis Unit, but I realized I have too much empathy for that work. I didn’t want to lose that part of myself, so I chose therapy—what came naturally to me.
