Hi there, I'm Evodie! My name is Dr. Evodie Antoine-Predestin. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 27 years of experience working with adolescents and adults, providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and sexual abuse. I earned my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. My approach In sessions, I focus on possibilities, resolutions, strengths, and solutions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and narrative therapy. My focus I have had the opportunity to work with a very diverse population in sessions. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy focusing on relational issues, infidelity, grief, depression, anxiety, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and trauma. My communication style I usually work in a collaborative manner with clients. I want clients to feel safe and secure. I want them to know that there is no judgment. My journey to mental healthcare I chose to become a therapist because of my desire to assist people in making sense of their circumstances and their lives. Based on the present issues, together with the client, I identify measurable goals to assess therapeutic progress.
