Hello! My name is Faheda, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Florida. I earned my graduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2018. I completed my internship with Lutheran Services Florida working with individuals who have experienced mental health concerns stemming from childhood trauma. Upon graduating, I became a full-time, in-home therapist that provided family therapy to juveniles involved in the justice system and their parents and caregivers, using the FFT modality. I have worked with CBT, DBT, and solution-focused modalities throughout my practice. I have a private practice, working primarily with adults facing various life transitions and individuals struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and more. I can help by discussing some specific challenges you may face or delving into past trauma and how it affects your relationships, goals, and aspirations. We'll create a treatment plan with small, obtainable goals based on what brought you to therapy. We'll follow up on these goals monthly to assess progress. We will create some coping skills and practice them in sessions via role-playing and open discussions to help you feel more comfortable as you implement them in your daily routine. The idea of therapy can be nerve-wracking. My goal is to make your experience as pleasant as possible while helping to provide the necessary tools needed for successful change.
