Getting to know Fausto Poza

Each of us has our own story, a lived experience that shapes how we see each other and the world. I want to understand, and help you see more clearly, how that affects you and the issues that caused you to seek therapy. I’ve helped people work through anxiety, grief, depression, cultural and relational issues, and trauma, among many other types of challenges. Through a client-centered approach, I’ll work side by side with you, helping you navigate a path forward that you feel comfortable with. Part of my story is that I spent many years living overseas doing work that brought me face-to-face with many people who shared their lives, interests, frustrations, and dreams. I learned a great deal about culture, how to connect with people of diverse backgrounds, and the ways in which we are all very different, yet in many ways very similar. It helped me learn about myself, and how to become the person I wanted to be. I found this process enriching and would like to help others experience the same growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Sofia University, which has deepened my understanding of human behavior and therapeutic techniques. My style is authentic, non-judgmental, and focused on creating an environment in which people can look at themselves and understand that whatever they see is all right, even as they seek to change it.
