Getting to know Felicia Bradley

My name is Felicia, and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey with experience supporting adolescents, families, young adults, and women through a variety of challenges and life transitions. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress management, women’s mental health, postpartum adjustment, and navigating major life changes. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can be heard without judgment and work collaboratively toward meaningful change. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build effective coping skills, and develop practical tools to navigate life with greater confidence and resilience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing while providing support, perspective, and practical tools along the way. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family-oriented approaches, tailoring treatment to your individual needs and goals. You can expect a supportive space where we can talk openly about what feels difficult while also identifying strengths, building coping strategies, and focusing on the changes you would like to make. Whether you are working through anxiety or depression, adjusting to a new stage of life, navigating relationships or family concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed, we will work together to find an approach that feels helpful and manageable for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions are focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying the concerns and goals that are most important to you. I’ll ask questions about your current experiences, your strengths and support system, and any factors that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. As we move forward, sessions typically include a combination of conversation, reflection, and practical strategies based on your goals. We may work on identifying unhelpful thought patterns, developing coping skills, managing stress, setting short- and long-term goals, or navigating a particular life transition. I tailor the pace and focus of therapy to each client, and we’ll regularly check in about what is and isn’t feeling helpful. My goal is for you to leave sessions with greater insight as well as tools you can use in your everyday life.
