Getting to know Florence Wilmerding Johnson

Welcome! My name is Flo and I am a licensed therapist dedicated to working with teens, young adults and parents. I have a BA from Hamilton College and received my MSW from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. I have worked in a variety of settings- outpatient, community health clinic, middle and high schools, and in the adoption field. I often collaborate with PCP offices, school contacts and other helpful resources in our local community. Have you or your child been struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, a recent transition or loss? Or perhaps feeling alone or stuck, at a loss for what could be helpful? Questioning who you are, or struggling in relation to family, school or your community? I am an ally and am LGBTQ+ affirming. I hope to help you build resilience, healthy relationships and heal from any possible grief or trauma. I look forward to getting to know you, and together, we can navigate what will be helpful on your path forward. I am booking both virtual and in-person appointments. In person visits are in Gloucester, MA. I am also in the process of further credentialing , if you do not see your insurance carrier listed at this time.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services.
