Sometimes we feel ready to "do the work," but might feel uncertain about where to start. I work in this field because I believe we are capable of making tremendous changes when we understand ourselves better. I believe in empowering you to gain a sense of control and purpose in your life. I come from a multicultural immigrant background, and am thus interested in how you describe yourself in your own words. My style is to support you in connecting your head and your heart to help you gain clarity on your current concerns. With this clarity, you can begin to take intentional steps toward healing and creating the life you want. My approach I am grateful for the experience and skills I have learned over the years that have allowed me to treat a variety of concerns that have led to depression, anxiety, or trauma. My approach is eclectic, and thus I employ interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. Throughout our time together, I utilize different theories to assess which one(s) you respond best to, to help you achieve your personal goals in therapy. My focus I am happy to partner with you to support you through various issues, including but not limited to relationship issues, workplace stress, self-esteem challenges, infidelity, and life transitions. You have the right to feel at peace in your head, heart, and body, and be connected to all of these aspects when you make decisions for yourself. Additionally, one of my clinical niches is working with survivors of narcissistic abuse, a form of trauma that often leaves individuals feeling confused, unheard, and disconnected from their sense of self. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy to gently guide you through the process of healing. I believe that survivors deserve to feel safe, understood, and whole again. Recovery from narcissistic abuse isn't just possible—it’s your right.
