Hi, my name is Dr. Gabriela AcevedoIguina. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I completed an APAaccredited internship in TraumaInformed Care and Multicultural Community Mental Health Services, and I am currently licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC in the state of Massachusetts.I am deeply passionate about providing quality, compassionate care to underserved and marginalized communities. As a bilingual clinician English and Spanish, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and empowering. My clinical approach is integrative and clientcentered, combining evidencebased modalities such as TraumaFocused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy TFCBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT, and other thirdwave CBT strategies. I also incorporate TraumaInformed Care principles to ensure safety, trust, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.By blending these approaches, I tailor therapy to each clientâs unique needs, fostering psychological flexibility, emotional resilience, and practical coping skills. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
