Getting to know Gabriela Pineda

Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and real. I'll meet you where you are. No rushing, no pressure, no filter required. This is a space where you can show up as your full self. If you're looking for a space where you can be real, feel understood, and start to make sense of what's going on beneath the surface, I'd be honored to be part of that process with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. I love working with anxiety, life transitions, relationship dynamics, and the emotional weight that comes with trying to hold everything together. I also understand how deeply personal the process of trying to grow a family or navigate fertility challenges can be. I approach that space with care, sensitivity, and respect for each person's unique experience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a relational therapist, I take a bigger-picture view. We'll look at the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you (your family dynamics, attachment history, cultural background, and current connections) to better understand what's happening for you right now. Together, we'll make sense of what's keeping you stuck, gently challenge what's no longer serving you, and build on the strengths you already have. I integrate evidence-based approaches with practical tools. I also love incorporating creative approaches, like art therapy techniques for both kids and adults. Sometimes doing something different helps the brain move differently, too!

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $150 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $150 for 60 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

I am an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, UHC/Optum and TriWest. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill to support reimbursement. I’m also happy to work with you to help keep therapy as affordable as possible.
