Psychotherapist

Yay! You're here! Taking the first step to start therapy is a big deal, and I'm excited to help you navigate growth. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationships, substance issues, and life events. Reach out if you'd like to get started-I look forward to hearing from you! My approach I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques, tailoring these methods to meet your specific needs with the goal of shifting unhelpful patterns in your life. My focus Are you currently experiencing anxiety, depression, or a difficult life transition? Do you imagine a life unburdened by these challenges? Maybe you feel motivated to make a change but aren't sure where to begin, finding yourself trapped in a cycle of negative self-talk and hopelessness. I believe change is possible. Through consistent effort, therapeutic processing, and actionable steps, we can work together to turn your goals into reality. I'd be happy to discuss this further with you-let's chat! My communication style I believe in being clear and consistent when reasonable. Typically, I can respond within 24 hours unless it is a weekend. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy began at 21, following the loss of a close family member. I started volunteering at a facility offering free group therapy to families who had experienced loss, which deepened my compassion for helping others navigate life's challenges. Since then, I've expanded my knowledge through various roles-volunteering, working in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, private practice, and at a substance use treatment center. I especially enjoy assisting individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and significant life transitions such as childbirth, divorce, or separation. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University, which has provided a strong foundation for my clinical work and commitment to supporting your growth.
