I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist, LMFT37528, and hold a Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of the Rockies. I view all of my clients with value, empathy, and compassion. My goal is to empower you with tools that support self-worth, self-love, and dignity. I am committed to assisting you in developing wholesome coping skills, healthy interpersonal relationships, and positive mindsets. My approach I use an eclectic, here-and-now, client-centered approach in counseling. My focus The major components I use are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Positive Psychology, and Biblical Meditation. I assist clients with overcoming depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, PTSD, and grief. I also help clients develop positive interpersonal relationships. My communication style I provide a safe space for clients and build trust through empathic and compassionate listening. Clients who work with me often feel inspired and empowered to grow. My journey to mental healthcare I have a great desire to help people live “the good life,” which entails having a healthy concept of self and others. As a therapist, I am honored to contribute to helping people live “the good life.” My goals for you I work with clients to identify areas they want to focus on during counseling. I strive to uncover their most important goals that will enhance personal growth and help them develop short-term and long-term strategies to accomplish these goals. My first session with you I greet clients warmly and help them feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. I ensure clients understand informed consent and begin building a strong alliance through attentive listening to their story. I also ask questions pertinent to their experience to better understand their needs.
