Getting to know Gail Weinstein

Hi! My name is Gail, and I have worked with children, individuals, and families for almost two decades. I love working with all populations, but I especially enjoy helping people who are struggling with inner wounds left over from childhood trauma. I am passionate about the healing process and appreciate supporting clients as they work through their struggles, heal their childhood wounds, show up authentically as they are, and connect more deeply with their children, partners, and themselves. I would be honored to help you through the healing process and partner with you on your path to joy and self-discovery. I especially enjoy working with young to middle-aged women because I have experienced many of those transitions myself-from high school and college graduation to job changes, dating, friendships, self-discovery, and finally marriage, pregnancy, and raising children. My specialties include an understanding of the Enneagram (I'm a certified teacher/professional) as well as conscious parenting-I am certified by Dr. Shefali Tsabary. I consider myself a "human potentialist." I believe in my clients' ability to create goals, experience profound growth, and make positive, lasting changes. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University. I appreciate clients who seek me out for therapy to be open to looking inward, embracing their full potential, and having some open-mindedness toward the Enneagram, as I often refer to it in my work.

What should a new client know about working with you?

On our first session I will ask the client how comfortable they are going into their presenting reasons for entering therapy, or if they would like to hear about me first, whatever makes them the most comfortable. During our first conversation I like to establish goals with my clients and to build rapport and understanding of my client while assisting my clients in understanding themselves.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I have seen many therapists and I was beginning to think that it just wasn't for me until I had my first appointment with Gail. She was very quick to help me feel understood. She is very kind and patient and works hard to help you get to the core of what's going on. With her training with Enneagram, she was able to help break down my personality type to help me best understand how to heal and grow. Definitely a 10/10!
