UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I view counseling as an equal partnership between client and therapist. I provide an empathetic and nonjudgmental forum where clients can freely explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences. As we work together, I use a variety of approaches designed to assist in resolving issues that interfere with happiness and daily functioning. I hold a Doctorate in Child, Youth, & Human Services from Nova Southeastern University and a Master's in Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University, which inform my compassionate and effective practice.
