Hello, I'm Gerinda Lockett, a Master's Level Psychotherapist (LPC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I graduated from Fort Valley State University in 1994 with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling, and I've been a licensed professional counselor since 2010. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, from residential facilities for children and adolescents to adult psychiatric hospitals and residential settings for adult females with substance abuse issues. I've also provided therapeutic services in the home and community for children and their families, as well as extensive experience in telehealth and Zoom sessions. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe in the power of changing thought patterns to empower individuals to address their goals and transform their lives.
