Ginny Manley, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi there, I'm Ginny! I graduated from the Family Psychology Program at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. I work with individuals and am trained to look at your family history to help you understand why you make the decisions you do in your relationships. I specialize in women's issues and those in the helping field. My approach I use a Psychodynamic approach with an emphasis on attachment theory to help you understand how your childhood experiences and relationships may currently be impacting you. I have training from Postpartum Support International, which has helped me support women going through challenges. I have additional training in TBRI (trust-based relational intervention) from TCU and was in one of the last groups with co-founder Karyn Purvis. Although this intervention was created for children with histories of trauma, I have found it useful for all ages and in all types of relationships. My focus Do you know that moment when everything suddenly clicks, like a lightbulb turning on? It's a powerful feeling. I work with individual women who are ready to explore their past and work through the roadblocks that may have shown up time and time again in their lives. Whether you've been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected, my goal is to help you find clarity and understanding in a safe, supportive space. Together, we’ll explore your emotions, dive into your experiences, and uncover new perspectives, all with the hope of reaching that breakthrough moment. As we move through your journey, you'll experience a sense of relief, insight, and renewed confidence. Through this process, you’ll reconnect with your inner strength, gain a clearer understanding of your challenges, and leave feeling empowered with a deeper sense of self.
