I know reaching out for therapy often begins in a place of overwhelm. You may be feeling anxious, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or weighed down by depression, ADHD, OCD, grief, or painful relationship patterns. You may also be carrying the lasting effects of childhood trauma, medical trauma, or major life transitions that feel difficult to manage alone. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you begin to make sense of your experiences and move toward healing. As an EMDR-certified therapist, I specialize in working with complex childhood trauma and complex PTSD. I provide therapy for individuals, children, families, and couples, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, ADHD, OCD, grief, and relational distress. In my work with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners reconnect, strengthen emotional safety, and rebuild trust. I also support cancer patients and survivors as they process the emotional impact of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, and I provide immigration evaluations for individuals seeking psychological support in legal contexts. I approach therapy with warmth, depth, and compassion. I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen and when their inner experiences are met without judgment. Whether you are struggling with past trauma, present stress, or uncertainty about the future, therapy can help you feel lighter, calmer, and more grounded in yourself and your relationships.

What should a new client know about working with you?

A new client should know that I offer a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space where you can feel safe being fully yourself. My approach is compassionate and depth-oriented, while also practical. I want to understand not only the symptoms you are experiencing, but also the deeper patterns, life experiences, and relationships that may be shaping what you are going through. When working with me, you can expect therapy to be tailored to your needs. Some clients come in wanting to process trauma, some want help managing overwhelming emotions or stressful relationships, and others want support through life transitions or healing from painful past experiences. For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners strengthen connection, improve communication, and rebuild trust. Whether you are coming in as an individual, couple, child, or family, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and present, while supporting you in appreciating what you have, accepting where you are, and moving forward in a meaningful way in your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with understanding your concerns, history, and goals so I can tailor therapy to your specific needs. I usually work with clients on a weekly basis, as consistency often supports growth, trust, and deeper healing. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you, creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on present challenges, relationship patterns, or deeper healing around trauma and attachment wounds. One of my goals in therapy is to help repair attachment injuries and support stronger emotional connection, both within yourself and in your relationships. I integrate EMDR when appropriate and use EFT with couples. With children, I incorporate play therapy, art, and other developmentally appropriate ways to help them express and talk about their feelings. I focus on creating a safe space where children can build trust and emotional awareness, while also working collaboratively with parents to support the child and strengthen family connection.
