CA
Hi there! My name is Grace Davis, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from San Jose State University. I am a warm and compassionate therapist committed to creating a safe and comfortable space for my clients. My approach is relaxed and non-judgmental, and my goal is to make you feel at ease wherever you are in your journey. My approach As a therapist, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my practice. These evidence-based approaches help individuals identify and change negative patterns of thought and behavior, increase awareness and acceptance of difficult emotions, and build skills to manage thoughts and actions in a healthy way. My sessions are relaxed and structured to fit you, and I encourage clients to share their backgrounds and beliefs to get the most benefit from therapy. By working together and exploring the underlying causes of challenges, we can create a personalized plan to achieve lasting change and improve overall well-being. My focus If you are struggling with chronic pain, depression, anxiety, or PTSD, please know I am here to support you. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome these challenges and find relief from their suffering. As a former member of the Trauma team at Stanford Hospital, I have extensive experience working with people who have experienced violent accidents or attempted suicide. I believe in your ability to heal and grow, and it would be my privilege to assist you on your journey toward a happier, healthier future. My communication style In therapy sessions, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment. I am gentle and approachable, with a sense of humor that helps create levity and ease.
