She holds a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, and has worked extensively with adults and youth experiencing mental health issues, substance use disorders, and posttraumatic stress in a variety of community mental health settings. Grace’s approach promotes mindfulness and resilience, empowering clients to overcome challenges by increasing emotion regulation and building insight into relational and behavioral patterns. She is committed to providing a safe, compassionate space for clients to heal from trauma, build healthy relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. PLEASE NOTE THAT GRACE DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICATIONS.

What should a new client know about working with you?

If this is your first time in therapy, I want you to know that you set the pace. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe enough to open up—whether you’re ready to dive in or just testing the waters. I’m collaborative and client-centered, which means I’ll meet you where you are, help you set manageable goals, and support you as you build confidence and insight along the way. Therapy with me is a partnership—you're not doing this alone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with getting to know you—your story, your strengths, and what’s bringing you in. From there, we’ll explore the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that are keeping you stuck and build practical tools to help you move forward. I use a mix of evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, and ACT, all through a trauma-informed lens. I also bring in reflection, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help you better understand yourself. We’ll take things step by step, with room for flexibility as your needs evolve.
