What should a new client know about working with you?

Grant’s clinical interests include working with issues related to depression, anxiety and trauma from a culturally-responsive lens. He enjoys working with LGBTQ+ people and folks from diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds. Grant uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to help his clients not only to recover, but also to thrive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am here to support your emotional health so that you can connect more deeply to your purpose for living. I will meet you where you are to help you find ways to regulate your emotions, allowing you to more effectively navigate the ups and downs of life. By working with me to cultivate greater self-mastery, you can increase your confidence, heal from your past, and navigate the challenges to come with grace, skill, and self-compassion. I can help by providing a caring and non-judgmental space for you to show up just as you are. Drawing from CBT and mindfulness, I focus on helping you not only identify opportunities for change, but also practice acceptance of yourself and others. I have a passion for working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals who often don't feel seen or like they belong. If living in this world is exhausting for you, it would be my honor and privilege to support you on your life's journey. I aim to build a trusting, supportive relationship with you, so that I can accompany you in making meaning from your story.
