Hello, I'm Gretchen. Thank you for taking the time to invest in yourself or your relationship. Everyone is worthy and deserving of a great quality of life. I am focused on assisting you in achieving your best self and regaining your balance in challenging times. I practice client-centered therapy, which creates a space that is safe for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I utilize a strengths-based, collaborative approach to support you in gaining skills to resolve life's challenges. Clients seeking healthy skills to change or improve their quality of life are inspiring. I’d like to support your journey and help you achieve your goals. Together, we can detail a plan to address your concerns specifically and at your pace. Finding new ways to view experiences and feelings can be overwhelming. Working with a therapist helps navigate a safe path. I have worked with adults and couples to manage challenges that range from minor to more complex. It’s why I have enjoyed working within behavioral health; each client has a unique story, and it’s a privilege to work with each and every one of them. I hold an MSW and am a Certified Addiction Specialist and Licensed Independent Social Worker. I have worked successfully with anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood/thought disorders, and dual diagnosis utilizing CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. My specialties include addiction, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, military/veteran support, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, stress, and trauma. If you think we would be a good fit, please reach out, and we can have a consultation. Please feel free to schedule directly with me. I am available Tuesday evenings only. First responders, corrections, and military (AD/Veteran) are welcome. Best wishes!
