I am honored to have the opportunity to meet you and explore areas of the heart, mind, and soul together. I have been fascinated by the study of "love" since a young age. Life presents many paradoxes, such as "Go through pain in order to heal." Since my awareness opened to the vast internal world of the human mind, I have strived to find answers. Through my teaching career—as an online professor in Psychology, Health and Human Services, and Philosophy—and my work in psychotherapy, I have been given the gift of revealing the invisible components of life, especially our internal world. I have personal and professional experience in diverse areas including gangs, addiction, violence, mood disorders, relationship dynamics, family connection, and many aspects within interpersonal and intrapersonal realms. I hold a deep awareness of cultural sensitivity and the assimilation process related to adaptation and acculturation. I began viewing life with analytical, philosophical, and emotional perception at an early age, as life was difficult for me from the start. After turning my life around and attending college, I was inspired by many individuals. I earned a position as a teaching assistant in stress management with my previous professor. From there, I pursued graduate school after earning my Psychology degree. I completed my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University. During this program, I continued teaching and was honored to work as an intern at a nonprofit agency during my final year. There, I delivered therapeutic services to a wide range of populations: onsite therapist for middle and high school students (pre-teens and teens), couples, anger management groups, domestic violence survivors, and family and individual therapy at the main facility. After completing my Master’s degree, I was given the opportunity to work as an online professor at Ashford University, where I continue to teach to this day.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
