She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults who seek support in emotion regulation and have a desire to learn how past lived experiences impact how they show up in the world today. Hana’s primary goal in therapy is to help clients recognize how their past influences their present and to develop skills that minimize the impact of these experiences through trauma-informed care and evidence-based, trauma-focused therapeutic modalities. She also enjoys aiding clients in behavioral analysis and understanding how cognitions can further induce mental and emotional suffering, using therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT. Due to her own cultural and ethnic background and lived experiences in several different countries, Hana is uniquely able to accommodate a variety of backgrounds and identities. Through these experiences, she has learned to value, respect, and engage with individuals from all walks of life.
