Psychotherapist
7001 Westwind Dr, El Paso, TX
Hi there, I'm Hannah! I'm so glad you're here! I believe it is an incredible honor to enter any person's life as a therapist, and it is an honor that I never take for granted. I truly believe that you are your biggest strength, and I hold every session focused on your specific needs and preferences. I specialize in working with adults and teens who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. I am here to help you feel seen, heard, and understood. My approach I practice a very eclectic approach, all depending on your unique needs and preferences. I will use CBT when you have unhelpful thoughts, DBT skills when you are in need of relaxation and peace with others, and I use ACT when you might feel lost in your thoughts and values. I will guide you on a journey to retell the story of your life so that it makes sense for you using a narrative approach. If family issues arise, I will use family systems approaches to help you solve the issue. Throughout all approaches, I practice trauma-informed care. Your autonomy and sense of agency regarding your therapy are of utmost importance. My focus Have felt overwhelmed with the chaos of life, have found yourself in situations and relationships that have not been helpful to you, or have struggled to set boundaries and prioritize yourself? I work primarily with teens and adults to cope with past trauma, life transitions, relationship or parenting issues, and stress and anxiety. My goal in working with you is for you to see yourself grow and thrive. My communication style I keep my communication style clear and simple to provide an environment that will help you feel comfortable enough to talk about anything. I will provide space for you and me to sit together with your feelings and experiences without judgment. I will be as directive as you decide, and feedback from you is always welcome. If I say something that does not sound right to you, don't hesitate to call me out on it!
