Hannah Stewart, LCSW

Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Hannah! I’m a therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the emotional challenges that can come with becoming a parent. I have a particular interest in supporting women during pregnancy and the postpartum period, as well as those who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or struggling with the transition. My focus I specialize in working with individuals experiencing Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), life transitions, postpartum, and relational challenges. My therapeutic style is both solution-focused and directive, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. My approach My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, while also being direct and goal-oriented. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring challenges at their own pace. At the same time, I take an active role in sessions—offering feedback, practical tools, and clear guidance. My communication style I aim to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing what brings you to therapy. I will ask thoughtful, direct questions to better understand your experiences and begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas for growth. My journey to mental healthcare I began my career as a special education teacher where I later transitioned to a social work role after I obtained my Master's Degree. Building on this experience, I transitioned into leadership roles, serving as a Clinical Director at two outpatient practices. My goals for you I utilize a solution-focused and motivational style, helping clients identify strengths, build momentum, and develop actionable strategies for change. My goal is to empower clients not only to gain insight, but also to make meaningful, lasting progress in their daily lives.
