No two people are the same, and neither are two journeys. Whether this is your first time stepping into therapy or an opportunity to get reacquainted with therapy, I am here to meet you where you are on your journey. I strive to ensure a collaborative therapeutic relationship with a willingness and ability to adapt to your unique needs. I am ready to support you along your desired path. My approach Using a trauma-informed, strength-based approach, I utilize a mix of modalities with prominent influences from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy. By using a mix of therapeutic styles, I am able to tailor sessions to be the most meaningful and beneficial to every individual. Throughout our therapeutic relationship, I both welcome and elicit feedback on what seems to particularly resonate with you and what doesn’t. For example, if mindfulness comes up in our sessions, and you let me know it doesn’t particularly work with you, let’s explore why and work together to find what does. My focus Going through a life transition, recent loss, processing trauma, have been diagnosed with an anxiety and/or depressive disorder, or wanting to explore personal goals? Wanting to increase skills in emotion regulation? Coping with daily stressors? Increase the ability to set and maintain boundaries? Obtain skills in healthy communication? Something else? I am here to support you and to empower you to build out and utilize the skills and knowledge that will help you not only achieve your goals, but maintain the change you want. My communication style Building a trusting, judgment-free, collaborative therapeutic relationship is something I prioritize in my practice.
