Hannah Worden, LSW, MSW

Psychotherapist
187 E Kiowa Ave, Elizabeth, CO
I bring a compassionate, grounded, and person-centered approach to therapy. After serving eight years in the United States Air Force as a law enforcement officer, I transitioned into child welfare work, where my passion for supporting individuals and families through difficult experiences continued to grow. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, and the importance of safe, supportive relationships. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2022 and completed my Master of Social Work degree in 2026. I view people through a systems lens, recognizing the connection between individuals and the environments in which they live. My goal is to help clients create lives that feel meaningful, balanced, and aligned with their values. While I value behavior change and symptom reduction, I also believe it is important to explore the experiences, emotions, and survival responses that contribute to current challenges. My therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Therapy, mindfulness practices, and somatic-based interventions. I enjoy incorporating creativity, mindfulness, and experiential techniques to support growth and healing. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, family conflict, and relationship challenges. My background in both military service and child welfare provides me with a unique understanding of stress, adversity, resilience, and healing. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with their strengths and move toward lasting change.
