Getting to know Harley Strickland
Reaching out can be hard (I am so proud of you!), and I am here to help begin the process of healing and support you in becoming a better you. My goal and desire are to teach you and provide the essentials to overcome your obstacles. When life gets overwhelming, we often forget to take care of ourselves. Depression and anxiety do not have to be part of your everyday life. Additionally, I am a certified provider for maternal mental health, which includes pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and pregnancy or infant loss.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Savannah State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective care. I am committed to being there for you and providing a safe place to share your experiences and events. In all areas, I utilize an informative and empathetic approach to guide us through feelings and experiences. My goal is to help you navigate and overcome whatever you are or will be going through.

What should a new client know about working with you?
The first session is primarily for learning about one another and discussing your goals for the future sessions and what you hope to get out of counseling. Subsequent sessions typically involve a check in from the prior and events from the prior week before discussing things relating to the goals you previously mentioned in the first session.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
