Hasya Jansen, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I am Hasya. I am a licensed therapist with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I help people heal from trauma, resolve relationship issues, and live balanced, healthy lives. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or suffering from low self-esteem, you are in the right place. I am here to help. Adverse childhood experiences can greatly impact our nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Therapy can help address those underlying issues and support you in coping better. I would love to be your guide on this journey. It can be scary to take that first step, but you are worth it! Give me a call, and let's work together on creating the life you deserve. You can also visit my website for more in-depth information about me and therapy. Find me at mywestcoasttherapy.com.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session will address informed consent, confidentiality and its exceptions, as well as assessment of your history, complaints and treatment goals. The treatment plan and interventions used will be different for each client and include interventions from psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive and somatic treatment modalities. Clients typically first report relief of being able to share about what they are struggling with. Over time you will notice symptoms of anxiety and depression decline and feel more equipped to cope with the demands of life. Clients also typically report increased wellbeing and self esteem.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
