As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping you to create meaningful change by empowering you to tap into your own inner strength. Taking the first step in seeking therapy can be scary, but I am here to make you wish you did it sooner! Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and I adapt my methods to meet your needs. I am flexible and collaborative, meeting you where you are and offering new perspectives, education, and realistic tools for change. My approach As a wife and mother, I bring valuable life experience to the therapeutic space as well as clinical knowledge in the therapeutic space. Taking a Family Systems approach, we will identify possible roles or patterns that could be contributing to areas of your life that are no longer serving you. Together, we’ll work to shift those patterns and establish healthier boundaries, communication, and coping skills. Whether you’re facing marital discord, challenges with your children, or unexpected hardships, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and personalized space where you can find growth, healing, and renewed connection. My focus My professional experience includes working in treatment centers for youth and young adults, providing in-home therapy for families navigating marital or familial struggles, and addressing a variety of challenges that arise in complex family systems. My communication style I understand that everyone enters therapy at different stages of awareness, so I make a conscious effort to be inviting and take the time to really listen to you and your needs. I ask pertinent questions to better understand what you are going through, while offering different perspectives to help you come to realizations and explore potential solutions. I also find it important to sprinkle in some joy and laughter, as we are only human, and recognizing that we are not alone can be healing for the soul.
