Getting to know Heather Caldwell

Hello and welcome to my therapy practice. I have 15 successful years of experience counseling adults to build greater self-awareness and stronger relationships with themselves and others. I educate clients on practical coping skills to manage their moods, leading to an improved quality of life. I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, which has provided a strong foundation for my work. My advanced Compassion Focused Therapy training is one of my leading therapeutic skills, complementing clients who want to increase self-compassionate language and behaviors that are encouraging rather than discouraging. I'm passionate about helping others and have been very successful in assisting people to reduce their critical inner voice and update their mindset to access their compassionate brains.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients often deal with feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, being overly sensitive, low self-esteem, multiple stressors, burnout, & ADHD. They may want a safe space to share feelings at times and process hurts from past and present.. They may want to increase task completion and move toward their full potential. I can help you update your mindset to be less critical of yourself, help you maintain a healthy schedule, process stressors & trauma, and grow self-confidence. Sessions are for you & your care!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I feel comfortable sharing information and have already improved in the areas I am currently working on.
My time with Ms. Caldwell has had such a positive impact on my life. I've struggled for so long to find a therapist that could tune in to me, and I feel I've found that with Heather. She is honest, caring, and is solution oriented. I've gained many new tools in my self-care toolbox and am so grateful for that. This is the hardest work we can do for ourselves and having a guide on our journey is so invaluable. Heather is that guide for me.
