Getting to know Heaven Zeen

Heaven is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#151784) who received her B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State University and her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. Heaven is currently pursuing AASECT Sex Therapy certification and is trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. Heaven has experience working with couples, families, and individuals and LQBTQI+ community. Heaven has worked with a wide variety of issues ranging from Trauma, self-esteem, family and relationship conflict, sexual desire discrepancies, neurodiversity, depression, and anxiety. Among other modalities, Heaven uses an emotionally focused approach to help clients reprocess childhood traumas, family and relationship distress, and approach conflicts with higher emotional regulation.

I am a humble, culturally sensitive, and compassionate therapist valuing the quality of relationship I build with my clients. I believe in the power of my clients to change their lives and I act as a mirror to reflect their own inner feelings and desires. I believe that all emotions are productive and should be expressed as such.
