Getting to know Heidi Reddin

Hello! My name is Heidi Reddin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in New Braunfels, TX. I see clients throughout Texas via telehealth. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I work with adults and specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and major life transitions. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy as modalities to explore client concerns. My approach to therapy varies based on a client's needs. Together, we explore areas of focus and goals and formulate a strategy plan that includes building understanding and compassion toward self, identifying and increasing awareness of triggers and responses, and developing tools for support. My communication style is calm, non-judgmental, and paced according to what the client feels most comfortable with. I decided to become a therapist because I wanted to provide hope, encouragement, and light for those navigating darkness, struggle, and uncertainty. It is a humbling and rewarding experience to witness clients grow and transform into the best versions of themselves. When setting goals, I work collaboratively with clients to identify what they want to achieve in therapy and their areas of focus. This process often begins by building trust and moving at a pace that feels right for the client. As therapy progresses, goals may remain the same or evolve, and we will continue to adjust and track progress together. Our first session will be more of a consultation to get to know each other and discuss your needs. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
