Hi there, I'm Helen! Hello, my name is Helen I. Green-Esterly, LPCC, CCTP-2. I earned my Master's degree from Cleveland State University. I have an eclectic approach to therapy. I enjoy a person/client-centered approach, but I will work to meet each client's unique needs. I feel the most important aspect of therapy is the rapport and trust I build with my clients. Without trust and a strong therapeutic alliance, therapy will not work. My approach My main approach is Person-Centered, but the client dictates the approach that is needed. My focus My client base consists of males aged 20-45 and females aged 18-50. My scope of practice includes, but isn't limited to, grief, stress and trauma, ADHD, and life stressors. My communication style I want my clients to feel comfortable speaking with me. My virtual office includes my couch and footrest. My journey to mental healthcare Ever since I was little, I enjoyed helping people work through issues they have. I love hearing people say thank you for making me feel better after they talk with me. My goals for you When a client chooses to come to counseling, they have taken the first step to help themselves. The client dictates their course of therapy. My first session with you I like to set a welcoming environment for my clients. During the first session, I enjoy having a chat to set the stage for our therapeutic relationship.
