Hello, I am an experienced bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work. I have been practicing for over 27 years. I have helped children, families, teens, and adults of all ages live a meaningful and satisfying life. My style as a clinician is to be actively engaged with my client in therapy. To offer practical solutions and techniques at each session so that the client can implement in their daily life. My belief system about my role as a therapist is to keep my clients engaged and motivated to make changes that can lead to making progress. I will help my client shift their mindset to live in the present with an understanding that the past is an opportunity to learn from it but not to dwell on. I will help my client develop a self awareness of how to live the most authentic version of themselves. I use strategies such as assertive communication & boundaries setting, and self talk to help my client develop a sense of self and how they view those around them. I am an empathic and a compassionate listener, kind and warm. I aim to develop a trusting and non-judgement clinical therapeutic relationship with my client. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
