Getting to know Hollie S. Chambers
Hello! Are you feeling stuck and confused? Are you experiencing anxiety about your relationship and/or attachment challenges? I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed in Florida and Texas. I received my Master's in Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I have witnessed many challenges in the African American community related to trauma, disguised anxiety and depression, which often manifest as anger and seclusion. Generational trauma is real.
My passion is assisting clients in gaining self-acceptance, sustaining intimate relationships, and regaining confidence. I also have a business background and understand women's issues regarding transitioning into leadership positions. If you require coaching in this area, I am very skilled and experienced.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to speciality is working with intimate relationships, break-ups, at-risk adolescents and the LGBTQ community.
I also like to give exercises in between sessions.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I really enjoyed speaking with Holly. It didn't feel like a therapy session. It felt like talking to someone in your village who understands exactly what you have been through. She listened and was able to help me uncover an issue that I had been trying to understand the why to for some time. I am looking forward to rhe next one.
